श्रावस्ती जिला

श्रावस्ती भारतीय राज्य उत्तर प्रदेश का एक जिला है ।

जिले का मुख्यालय भिन्गा है जो एक विकासशील नगर हैं। श्रावस्ती जनपद एक नवनिर्मित जनपद है जो बहराइच जनपद से अनुनिर्मित हैं।श्रावस्ती भारत की अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय सीमा पर स्थित एक एतिहासिक एवँ अन्तरवैश्विक धार्मिक महत्व वाला एक धर्मस्थल भी है। बौद्ध धर्म के सँस्थापक महात्मा बुद्ध ने सर्वाधिक उपदेश यही दिये थे।

Shrawasti headquarter Bhinga is a developing town having a great essence for it's regional geographic location. It is rarely 30 kms. from nepal border........ Bhinga is shedded with the pollywoody Forests. it has near about 400 square kmtrs area of the dense forest of Sagaun,pakers,accasia,euclaptis and many varriety of woods........The hindi wikipedian Mr. Ankur Anand Mishra is also from this district. His native village Udaypur is at 6 kms distant from the headquarter.
