बिग बॉस ओटीटी , जिसे बिग बॉस: ओवर-द-टॉप के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, भारतीय रियलिटी टीवी श्रृंखला बिग बॉस का पहला सीजन है जिसे विशेष रूप से स्ट्रीमिंग प्लेटफॉर्म पर बनाया और प्रसारित किया गया है। इसका प्रीमियर 8 अगस्त 2021 को वायकॉम18 की स्ट्रीमिंग सेवा वूट और प्रीमियम स्ट्रीमिंग सेवा वूट सिलेक्ट पर करण जौहर के साथ इस डिजिटल-ओनली सीज़न के होस्ट के रूप में हुआ। [1]

यह अपने टेलीविजन संस्करण बिग बॉस 15 से पहले छह सप्ताह तक स्ट्रीम होगा - जिसे बाद में इसका विलय कर दिया जाएगा। [2] इस सीज़न में, दर्शकों के लिए कुछ नई सुविधाएँ उपलब्ध कराई जा रही हैं जैसे नामांकन, दंड और रिपोर्ट कार्ड।

24 जुलाई 2021 को वूट ने इस डिजिटल एक्सक्लूसिव सीज़न के होस्ट के रूप में करण जौहर के साथ एक पोस्टर का अनावरण किया। [3] 3 अगस्त को, वूट ने करण जौहर के साथ एक तीसरे प्रोमो का अनावरण किया, जिसमें सीजन के प्रारूप को इतिहास में कहीं अधिक बोल्ड और क्रेज़ी होने का खुलासा किया गया था। [4]

प्रसारण[संपादित करें]

सामान्य घंटे भर के एपिसोड के अलावा, दर्शकों के पास सीधे 24x7 कैमरा फुटेज तक पहुंच होगी। यह शो सोमवार-शनिवार को शाम 7 बजे और रविवार को रात 8 बजे स्ट्रीम किया जाएगा। एपिसोड को पहले 24 घंटे लाइव चैनल के माध्यम से शाम 7 बजे सोम-शनि और 8 बजे सन में वूट सेलेक्ट की पेड सब्सक्रिप्शन पर प्रसारित किया जाएगा, फिर इसे वूट पर अगली सुबह 9 बजे मुफ्त में दिखाया जाएगा। कलर्स टीवी पर भी देर रात से ही एपिसोड का प्रसारण शुरू हो गया था।

इस साल घर को "स्टे कनेक्टेड" थीम के साथ बनाया गया है। घर में एक आंगन, लिविंग रूम, किचन, बाथरूम, बेडरूम, गार्डन एरिया, कन्फेशन रूम, डाइनिंग टेबल, स्विमिंग पूल और विशेष रूप से थीम के लिए उन्होंने "स्टे कनेक्टेड रूम" नामक एक विशेष कमरा जोड़ा। इस साल बेडरूम में चारपाई है और घर कार्निवाल की तरह डिजाइन किया गया लगता है। [5]

यह सीजन बिग बॉस के इतिहास में पहली बार है, जो कि ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म वूट पर टेलीविजन संस्करण से 6 सप्ताह पहले लॉन्च हुआ था । सीज़न की थीम "स्टे कनेक्टेड" है और इसमें 6 लड़के और 7 लड़कियां हैं जिन्होंने जोड़े के रूप में प्रवेश किया जबकि 1 प्रतियोगी ने अकेले प्रवेश किया। प्रतियोगियों को अपने कनेक्शन के साथ बंधन को मजबूत बनाने और खेल में जीवित रहने पर काम करना है। मेकर्स ने कई नए फीचर्स भी लॉन्च किए हैं जो दर्शकों को नॉमिनेशन, पनिशमेंट और रिपोर्ट कार्ड जैसे पावर देंगे। [6] विजेता को रुपये का इनाम दिया जाता है 25 लाख और ओटीटी विशेष ट्रॉफी।

  • The theme of the season is #StayConnected.
  • On the Premiere Night, Bigg Boss announced that the girls will have to win tasks in order to get their luggage.
  • On Day 4, Bigg Boss announced that boys have an opportunity to break off their existing connection and make a connection with Divya. The girl whose connection breaks will be nominated in her place.[22]
Tasks
  • BB Live Night (Day 1): Bigg Boss announced that housemates will entertain Voot 24×7 Live Audience.[23]
  • BB Candy Shop (Day 2): The girls have a chance to win their luggage. Their connections will play on girls behalf. All guys will pick their connection's dolls and take them to the candy shop. There are 5 gates to enter the candy shop and there will be 5 buzzers, The candy shop will open when the buzzer plays. Each boy will enter one gate. Divya will supervise the task. After every round, Divya will seal one gate.

After considering the performance of the housemates, Bigg Boss Announced that all girls can take 25 items from their luggage.
  • Boss Lady and Boss Man Task (Day 3): Indian Matchmaker Sima Taparia enters the house to motivate the connections and to choose the No. 1 connection.[24]
  • Nomination Task (Day 4): In this Task, one partner will sit in the room and the other partner will be performing. They will be given tasks to win. Pratik & Akshara are safe from the nomination as they are captains and they will supervise the task. In the end, four connections will be safe and one will be nominated. Urfi won't be a part of the task as she is already nominated.[25]

2. The second task was that the connection pair will have to announce that they would be nominated for next week.

Shamita & Raqesh quit the task to protest Pratik's decision as supervisor. They get nominated while Ridhima & Karan are safe from nominations.
Bigg Boss announced that the Voot Select Audience have the power to nominate 1 connection.
  • 1 2 3 Statue (Day 5 & 6): One team is supposed to maintain a statue-like pose for an extended amount of time, whereas the other team will try to disturb them. The Boss Lady & Man will be chosen from winning team. Urfi is supposed to be the supervisor of the task.[26]

On Day 2, Bigg Boss Announced that there will be a daily report card which will show the performance of the housemates . The housemates' performance will be decided by Voot Select 24x7 Live Audience. If the performance of housemates is good they can get extra privileges or no problems for the next day. If the performance of housemates was bad, Bigg Boss can take away some privileges.[31]

  • Day 2: Audience were happy with the performance of the housemates.
  • Day 3: Audience were happy with the performance of the housemates. As a result, the girls got all their luggage back.
  • Day 4: Audience were happy with the performance of the housemates.
  • Day 5: Audience were happy with the performance of the housemates.
  • Day 6: Audience were happy with the performance of the housemates.
  • Day 7: Audience were happy with the performance of the housemates.
Exits Urfi Javed was evicted on Day 8 by public vote.[32]
Week

2 		Tasks
  • Nomination Task (Day 9 & 10): In this Task, Shamita & Raqesh will be the head sarpanch as they are the Boss Lady & Man (they are safe from nominations). Every round Bigg Boss declares one connection to be the sarpanch along with them. He also declares a title which must be given to one of the remaining connections. After discussing with all the connections, the four sarpanchs must declare the name of the connection who they think is the must suitable for that title. Then the 24x7 Live Voot Select Audience will decide if they agree with their decision or not. If the audience agrees, then the connection who got that title will be nominated and if they don't, then the connection who was the sarpanch for that round will be nominated.[33]

1. The first connection to be the sarpanch was Divya & Zeeshan and the title to be discussed was sabse kaamchor (laziest) connection.

2. Ridhima & Karan were the next sarpanch and the title to be discussed was sabse aswachh (most unhygienic) connection.

3. On Day 10, Muskaan & Nishant were the next sarpanch and the title to be discussed was sabse kamzor (weakest) connection .
The four sarpanchs couldn't agree to a mutual decision and after a lot of time Bigg Boss had no choice but to end the task and
nominated everyone as a punishment, including the Shamita & Raqesh by making their immunity invalid.[34]
  • BB Factory (Day 11 & 12): In this Task, all connections will work as factory workers. They have to make dominos using blocks and paint. They will paint the initials of the connection which they don’t want to make the next Boss Lady & Man . After each round, the connections will keep getting eliminated on the basis of how many connections wrote their initials. In the end and the last connection will become Boss Lady & Man. Shamita & Raqesh will be the supervisors and they will decide which connection’s name was written the most on the blocks.[35]

These 2 connections are allowed to stay in the garden area only and they must continuously rotate a mill until Bigg Boss' next update. If they need anything from the house like water, only Divya & Zeeshan can bring it for them.

  • Day 9: Audience were happy with the performance of the housemates.
  • Day 10: Audience were happy with the performance of the housemates.
  • Day 11: Audience were not that happy with the performance of the housemates and it was just okay. As a result, the next day they will have a gas supply for 4 hours only. 2 hours in the morning, 2 hours in the evening.[39]
  • Day 12: Audience were not that happy with the performance of the housemates and it was just okay. As a result, the next day they will have a gas supply for 4 hours only. 2 hours in the morning, 2 hours in the evening.

  • Day 14: Audience were happy with the performance of the housemates.

Tasks
  • Game Of Hearts (Day 16): Before the task, Bigg Boss dissolved all the connections and gave the housemates the opportunity to change their connections. But unlike the premier day, where girls made the decisions, this time boys had the power. The girls had to decide the order in which they will do the task by mutual agreement and were required to present their heart to a guy they want to form a connection with. The guy in question could either accept the heart or break it and toss it in the dustbin. The task won't end utill everyone has a connection.[41]
