सार्वभौमिक आचार संहिता (यूनिवर्सल कोड ऑफ कंडक्ट) जिसका उद्देश्य विकिपीडिया पर ऐसा वातावरण बनाने में मदद करना है जहाँ कोई भी, बिना किसी उत्पीड़न अथवा भय के, सुरक्षित रूप से अपना योगदान दे सके। इस विषय पर विभिन्न समुदाय के सदस्यों से उनके विचार एकत्रित किए जा रहे हैं।
चूँकि आप समुदाय के एक महत्वपूर्ण सदस्य हैं, आपके दिए विचार तथा सुझाव हमारे लिए अति महत्वपूर्ण है जो की इस सार्वभौमिक आचार संहिता को बनाने में न केवल सहायक होंगे अपितु हमारे विकिपीडिया समुदाय का प्रतिनिधित्व भी करेंगे। आपके लिए इस आचार संहिता की भाषा और सामग्री को बेहतर ढंग से प्रस्तुत करने, उत्पीड़न मुक्त स्थान बनाने तथा विकी आंदोलन को आगे बढ़ाने में योगदान करने का प्रमुख अवसर है।

विकिपीडिया पेजेज़ वांटिंग फ़ोटोज़ (WPWP)[संपादित करें]
नमस्कार,
इस साल हिन्दी विकिपीडिया पर भी विकिपीडिया पेजे़ज़ वांटिंग फ़ोटो़ज़ (WPWP) अभियान का आयोजन होने जा रहा है। यह एक वार्षिक अभियान है जहाँ विकिपीडिया की विभिन्न भाषा परियोजनाओं और समुदायों से सदस्य मिलकर विकिपीडिया के चित्रहीन लेखों में चित्र जोड़ते हैं। यह अभियान १ जुलाई २०२० से लेकर ३१ अगस्त तक चलेगा। आप इस अवधि में इसमें भाग लेने के लिये आमंत्रित हैं। भाग लेना अत्यंत आसान है, आपको केवल चित्रहीन पृष्ठों पर सार्थक चित्र लगाने हैं और उस संपादन विवरण में #WPWP और #WPWPHI लिखना है। कृपया यहाँ साइन अप करके भाग लें और इसे सफल बनाएँ। अधिक जानकारी या सहायता हेतु अभियान के समुदाय पृष्ट को देखें।

- @रोहित साव27: जी, ट्विंकल से। जिस सम्पादन को स्थापित करना होता है उस अन्तर को इतिहास देखें से खोलेंगे तो ऊपर अवतरण इतिहास पर ऊपर भूरे रंग में लिखा होता है कि यह संस्करण स्थापित करें। इससे सीधा वही संस्करण स्थापित हो जाता है। Lightbluerain (वार्ता) 11:47, 14 जुलाई 2020 (UTC)
- @रोहित साव27: लेकिन ये भी कृपया देखकर सोच समझकर ही प्रयोग करें। आप बर्बरता वाले सम्पादनों को हटाते हैं वो अच्छी बात है, लेकिन जिस प्रकार मेरे और चौपाल पर एक और सदस्य के सही सम्पादनों को आपने पूर्ववत किया हो सकता है ऐसे आप अन्य सदस्यों के भी जल्दबाजी में सही सम्पादन पूर्ववत कर देते हों। ऐसे बिल्कुल गलत है जी। ध्यान रखें। Lightbluerain (वार्ता) 11:55, 14 जुलाई 2020 (UTC)

आपका शीह नामांकन[संपादित करें]
नमस्ते Lightbluerain जी, आपने चैनल एक्सेस विधि लेख को इस कारण से शीघ्र हटाने हेतु (शीह) नामांकित किया है कि आपने इससे बेहतर लेख दूसरे नाम चैनल एक्सेस विधि से बनाया है। यह उचित नहीं है। अगर कोई पुराना लेख आपको ठीक नहीं लगता तो आप उसमें सुधार करें, और उसके बाद उसका शीर्षक सही नहीं लगता तो शीर्षक बदलने के लिए {{नाम बदलें}} का प्रयोग उस पृष्ठ के वार्ता पन्ने पर करें।

- नमस्ते @SM7 जी, ठीक है मैं आगे से ध्यान रखूँगी। चैनल एक्सेस मैथड पर मैंने कोई अलग बेहतर पृष्ठ नहीं बनाया है बल्कि "चैनल एक्सेस विधि" का ही कंटेंट नये नाम पर डाला है क्योंकि ये नाम कुछ हिंदी और कुछ अंग्रेजी का मेलजोल था, जो ठीक नहीं लगा। {{नाम बदलें}} की मुझे जानकारी नहीं थी। मेरा पहला विचार "चैनल एक्सेस विधि" को redirect बनाना था, लेकिन जहाँ तक मुझे लगा कि क्योंकि redirect एक विषय के अलग-अलग नामों के लिए बनाते हैं तो ये कोई विषय का अलग नाम नहीं है, इसलिए मुझे लगा कि नाम बदलने पर भी शायद ये हटाया ही जाएगा तो खूद ही नए नाम पर डालकर शीह के लिए नामांकन कर दिया। लेकिन आगे से मैं ध्यान रखूँगी जी। धन्यवाद। Lightbluerain (वार्ता) 17:50, 23 जुलाई 2021 (UTC)
- जी, धन्यवाद, वैसे थोड़ी ग़लती मेरी भी है। मुझे ऐसा लगा जैसे आपने किसी अन्य के बनाये लेख के स्थान पर नया लेख बना कर पुराने को शीह नामांकित कर दिया है। हटाने से पहले इतिहास देखने पर मुझे समझ में आया कि वह लेख भी आप ही का बनाया हुआ है। अतः मैं दोनों का विलय कर दे रहा। पुराने लेख से अनुप्रेषण (Redirect) नहीं छोड़ रहा, अगर आप को लगे कि उसकी भी आवश्यकता है तो आप दुबारा बना लें।
- नाम बदलने का तरीका वही है। हलाँकि, अगर पन्ना पूरी तरह आप ही का बनाया हुआ है, तब आप नाम बदलने के लिए किसी भी प्रबंधक को संदेश भेज दें, बदल दिया जाएगा।--SM7--बातचीत-- 15:43, 24 जुलाई 2021 (UTC)

- @Ltshivam, I didn't remove it. I "tagged" it for speedy deletion. It was worthy of being deleted because of these two reasons:
- It's against our policy on what Wikipedia is and is not. We would've no problem with the article if that provided enough reliable sources to prove its notability. It had not a single source.
- You misused your user page to write an article there instead of using it as a "userpage" itself. It would've been deleted there even if it provided enough sources for notability.
- Sir, better work around Wikipedia for a while before going to think of writing the next article here. Legal threats wouldn't work here. You're yourself not following Wikipedia's rules and regulations.

- @Ltshivam, be you the Prime Minister of some country. Wikipedia has a set of accepted policies and guidelines that it doesn't want anyone to breach. And, Wikipedia allows me to "mercilessly" edit it subject to I do it with good intentions and following its policies. Your userpage was against Wikipedia's policies. - @Ltshivam, you only edited your userpage and talk page so far. What are you here for? If you're not here to build an encyclopaedia, then I would encourage you to contribute to the articles here you have some information about and can provide reliable sources to. If you still kept maintaining just your user page, it would show that you don't want to get involved in building an encyclopaedia, and being a problematic user (since you used threats to a fellow Wikipedian) as well, I am sorry you'd invide getting blocked from editing here per Wikipedia's blocking policy.

WikiConference India 2023: Open Community Call and Extension of program and scholarship submissions deadline[संपादित करें]
Dear Wikimedian,
Thank you for supporting Wiki Conference India 2023. We are humbled by the number of applications we have received and hope to learn more about the work that you all have been doing to take the movement forward. In order to offer flexibility, we have recently extended our deadline for the Program and Scholarships submission- you can find all the details on our Meta Page.
COT is working hard to ensure we bring together a conference that is truly meaningful and impactful for our movement and one that brings us all together. With an intent to be inclusive and transparent in our process, we are committed to organizing community sessions at regular intervals for sharing updates and to offer an opportunity to the community for engagement and review. Following the same, we are hosting the first Open Community Call on the 3rd of December, 2022. We wish to use this space to discuss the progress and answer any questions, concerns or clarifications, about the conference and the Program/Scholarships.
