I am not these people. How can you say that I am. Also, what vandalism have I done, especially on pages such as जापान के प्रांत, मनोविदालिता, चिटागांग, नामपेन्ह, वातरक्त, चोंग्किंग, सिरदर्द, and इस्राएल के बैंक as these are the most minimal changes I have made here. On, for example, the page मनोविदालिता, I simply replaced the English word placed in several places with that of the Hindi name, as evident in the title. I would not call that vandalism. I would like for you to re-review these "cases of vandalism" and be a little more understanding here. Also, on रोगों की सूची, I added more links. If people want to know the English name for a disease, they only have to switch languages, however, it makes no sense to place any English on the Hindi wikipedia in places like this. --SumilBhatt (वार्ता) 22:51, 8 अक्टूबर 2012 (UTC)[उत्तर दें]

They get banned and you show up precisely as they get banned and do *exactly* the same thing as them in the exact same pattern. What you are doing is censoring with a specific agenda that has nothing to do with Wikipedia and everything to do with "cleansing" and "purity". This is not a forum for you to advance your ideological positions. These are words in common usage in those fields in India and other Hindi-speaking zones. Virtually every other language also makes reference to them as the standard international nomenclature in them is also in English. Switching languages is non-optional for someone that needs to see cross-language connections, which is absolutely the case for someone that sees 'वातरक्त'. Which doctor in India uses this term? What you are doing is handicapping Hindi-speakers and making them dependent on English speakers to interpret the world for them. It makes as much sense as the Taliban "strengthening" Afghan society by banning "evil Western education". Who uses terms like 'शिरपीड़ा'? That had 28 hits in Google books and 'सिरदर्द' has about 9500. A nonsense word like 'प्रबता' has 114 hits, i.e. 4 times that of 'शिरपीड़ा'. Also, you are massively into Original Research, which is explicitly forbidden on Wikipedia. Why have you used "मत्स्य कल्प" for "Devonian period"? Show me a single verifiable and independent online reference that says this is true. There is none. This is completely disallowed on Wikipedia. --Hunnjazal (वार्ता) 03:46, 9 अक्टूबर 2012 (UTC)[उत्तर दें]

Sorry for all the original research that has occurred. But also, at the bottom of डिवोनी कल्प, it itself mentions, without any edit done by me, that the Devonian Period may also be called "मत्स्य कल्प," and so I placed it above to make a note of it. However, I do see the sense in what you are saying in terms of cross-language connections. And for "भीमसरट," (dinosaur) there are quite many sources that use the word frequently and so I thought to include it into the article without removing anything else, simply adding the word. I do promise though to not now go about blindly replacing words. --SumilBhatt (वार्ता) 04:06, 9 अक्टूबर 2012 (UTC)[उत्तर दें]
And also, please do reconsider some of the other edited pages I had mentioned earlier, where the edit actually was legitimate. --SumilBhatt (वार्ता) 04:08, 9 अक्टूबर 2012 (UTC)[उत्तर दें]

In रोगों की सूची, I kept your additions, but added the English back in. 'भीमसरट' is extremely rare - 6 hits on Google books vs 418 for डायनासोर. On main Google search 'डायनासोर' had 71,000 and 'भीमसरट' had 76, i.e. off by a factor of one thousand. What is gained by this puritanism? It is insane when virtually all the nations are missing province pages, 90% of stars do not have hindi pages, 90% of cities are not in Hindi Wikipedia, 90% of medical conditions are missing, 90% of scientific principles are missing, 90% of species, genuses, families are missing, 90% of chemicals are missing. What you are doing is slowing everything down and creating senseless censorship. Hindi Wikipedia has 1 lakh articles, English has 4 million. Hindi is making about 20k new article a year, which means it will take it 200 years to get to the same level. Even that wont happen because English is increasing much faster. Even languages spoken by a tiny fraction of Hindi speakers, such as Persian (2.25 lakh) and Dutch (1.12 lakh), have more articles. They transliterate and refer to English terms without hesitation. English also unhesitatingly uses non-English terms with no effort at translation when the initial idea was propounded somewhere else - en:Kanban, en:Satyagraha - and normalizes nonsense terms which are coined out of the blue like Prion, Robot or Cliche. It is nuts to mechanically transliterate all this.

On top of that, many Latin and Greek terms are Indo-European with deep links of Sanskrit. Why the heck would we waste all this time? 'Dino' is related to 'दानव' and 'saur' is related to 'सर्प'. Explain the सजातीय शब्द linkage and move on - Greek and Latin are in completely different IE branches than English (Germanic) is, yet they use it. 200 years ago, no one speaking English had any clue what Dinosaur is. Be intelligent. Hindi wikipedia needs creativity and speed, not some mechanical Talibanization / Government of India Hindi Vibhaag bureaucracy! You want to do something nice? I spent 3 months making सबसे रोशन तारों की सूची, researching every constellation and every star and making sure it got done in Hindi, but in a way that Hindi speakers would be able to connect to astronomers worldwide. Do this for en:States of Venezuela - note available in Persian and Chinese, but offlimits for Hindi speakers. You are clearly a sock-puppet. There isn't a shade of doubt in this. However, the progress in Hindi wikipedia is so slow that I appeal to you! Join hands, be broadminded and be intelligent. Prepare a knowledge base for Hindi-readers to join the world and keep abreast. There are plenty of shuddh Hindi zealots out there. That produces a small puddle. Let us be the ocean instead. --Hunnjazal (वार्ता) 04:40, 9 अक्टूबर 2012 (UTC)[उत्तर दें]

Maybe this will help you focus, as it has helped me: Visualize a 11 year old girl that reads nothing but Hindi. In India, this means she comes from a family of limited means. Around her are people who go to English-medium schools and the world is open to them. This little Hindi-speaker is who you sacrifice when you teach her 'भीमसरट'. You sacrifice her to your idea of linguistic purity, which has zero practical use and actually handicaps her. The English speakers are connected to the world. Her world is tiny (limited knowledge in her language) and burdened with this ideological baggage that isolates her from the rest of the planet. The Japanese, Chinese, Persians, Spanish, Arabs have no issues using English terms. None of them is losing their language btw. However, puritanism will create a deadly nexus: Hindi-poor-ignorant-isolated vs English-successful-learned-connected. Serve the 11 year old, forget ideology. Do what is good for her, what will help her in life. Imagine she is the daughter of a servant in a metro in India. Do you want her to helplessly look at the faces of the richer kids when they they can talk to doctors, understand breaking news, browse books from anywhere, talk to anyone? There are plenty of people working to preserve the purity of Hindi. All their kids usually study in English-medium schools. Note also how most English articles are comprehensible by normal people. Does the normal Hindi speaker say 'शिरपीड़ा'? It shows you consider your own spoken language to be inferior. In other words, it reveals an inferiority complex. Not in normal Hindi speakers that say 'सिरदर्द' but in you. I'm hoping *you* will reconsider your ways by stepping away from a discussion of policy (OR, Sock puppet, POV) and appealing to your core motivations. Please be a positive addition to this community. Your edits to date are disruptive, harmful and involve obsessively "purifying" things rather than contributing to this meagre collection of articles that is Hindi wikipedia. I will say no more on this topic now. --Hunnjazal (वार्ता) 04:58, 9 अक्टूबर 2012 (UTC)[उत्तर दें]

I do understand that I should start by creating pages in Hindi. I have begun गिजगिजिया and will continue working on it.
