स्कारलेट मेलिश विल्सन भारतीय सिनेमा में काम करने वाली एक ब्रिटिश मॉडल और नर्तकी है। [2]

करियर

स्कारलेट का जन्म और पालन-पोषण ब्रिटेन में हुआ। इन्होंने लंदन के टिफ़नी थिएटर कॉलेज में कला प्रदर्शन का अध्ययन किया।[3]इन्होंने बैले और जैज़ में प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त किया। [4]इन्होने कहा कि वह एक साल की उम्र से नृत्य (डांस) कर रहीं हैं।[5]

बॉलीवुड में काम करने के लिए 2009 में ये भारत आईं और मॉडलिंग करना शुरू कर दिया। [6] इन्होंने टीवी शो "चक धूम धूम" में कोरियोग्राफी में सहायता प्रदान की[3]और वाणिज्यिक विज्ञापनों समेत विभिन्न परियोजनाओं के लिए अनेक शहरों [5]व अभिनेताओं जैसे ऋतिक रोशन और सैफ अली खान के साथ काम किया। [4]

बॉस्को-सीजर सहित कई कोरियोग्राफरों के साथ इन्होंने काम किया। जहां बोस्को-सीजर ने इनका परिचय निर्देशक दिवाकर बनर्जी से कराया। इन्होंने राजनीतिक थ्रिलर फिल्म "शंघाई" में "इम्पोर्टेड कमरिया " नामक आइटम सॉन्ग किया। इसमें इनकी एक छोटी सी भूमिका भी थी, [5][6] इन्होंने अपनी भूमिका को कैटरीना कैफ से प्रेरित बताया।[7] शंघाई के बाद इन्होंने "बजाते रहो" और "आर राजकुमार" जैसी बॉलीवुड फिल्मों व दक्षिण भारतीय फिल्म उद्योग में कई आइटम नंबर किये।[8][9] इन्होंने तेलुगू फिल्म "कैमरामैन गंगतो रामबाबू", [10] "चंडी" [11]और "येवदु" में और कन्नड़ फिल्म "महानदी" और "प्रेम अड्डा" में नृत्य किया। [12][13]इन्हें विजय की तमिल फिल्म "जिल्ला(Jilla)" में भी देखा जाएगा। इन्होंने "जैज़ी बी" की पंजाबी संगीत वीडियो "फीम" (कट लाइक ए डायमंड) में भी काम किया है।[14][15]

राजीव खंडेलवाल के साथ ये अहसान हैदर द्वारा लिखित और निर्देशित एक आगामी फिल्म में अपनी पहली प्रमुख भूमिका में दिखाई देंगी। [16] स्कारलेट ने एस॰एस॰ राजमौली द्वारा निर्देशित 2015 की भारतीय द्विभाषी फिल्म बाहुबली: द बिगनिंग में भी एक आइटम सॉन्ग किया है।[17][18]
