This template employs intricate features of template syntax. You are encouraged to familiarise yourself with its setup and parser functions before editing the template. This template assists documentation of a user warning template by listing all of the templates in that series. For example, a series might be named "Uw-vandalism" (containing {{uw-vandalism1}}, {{uw-vandalism2}}, {{uw-vandalism3}}, {{uw-vandalism4}}, and {{uw-vandalism4im}}. To use the template for a normal series like uw-vandalism, use the syntax:
- {{user warning set|series=uw-vandalism|1|2|3|4|4im}}
This will produce
Part of the uw-vandalism user warning series
Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | Level 4 | Level 4im |
{{uw-vandalism1}} | {{uw-vandalism2}} | {{uw-vandalism3}} | {{uw-vandalism4}} | {{uw-vandalism4im}} |
For the uw-test series, there is no {{uw-test4}} (one should use {{uw-vandalism4}} instead), and there is no 4im level for testing edits. To indicate a template out of the series, write that name of that template in the place of "1", "2", "3", "4", or "4im". To indicate that there is no template that describes a particular edit (at all), leave that parameter blank. So
- {{user warning set|series=uw-test|1|2|3|uw-vandalism4| }}
will yield
Part of the uw-test user warning series
Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | Level 4 | Level 4im |
{{uw-test1}} | {{uw-test2}} | {{uw-test3}} | Use {{uw-vandalism4}} | N/A |
