Hello. I apologise for posting this in English. As part of meta:Climate change portal/climate denial review, a group of editors is reviewing the scientific accuracy of smaller Wikipedia projects. I've removed old climate denial, that was probably added when there was a lot of controversy in the media still. Further improvements will require somebody fluent in Hindi.
- Could the second sentence be updated? Warming is now 1.09C (0.95–1.20) above pre-industrial (https://www.ipcc.ch/report/ar6/wg1/downloads/report/IPCC_AR6_WGI_SPM_final.pdf)
पूर्ण हुआ The lede says that 16 degrees in necessary for human life, which isn't quite true. A lot of people live in polar regions with lower temperatures- I think "तथा वायुमंडलीसय ग्रीनहाउस गैसों के अभिकेंद्रण (greenhouse gas) को भी परिवर्तित करता है। वैज्ञानिक आम सहमति (scientific consensus) होने के बाद भी हाल ही में हुई गर्मी में वृद्धि के विस्तृत कारण (causes of the recent warming) शोध का विषय होते हैं" implies there is still doubt as to the cause, which is not the case anymore (the 2021 IPCC report said with certainty humans are the cause)
- पूर्ण हुआ The Clathrate gun hypothesis is thought to be false. Can "इसी तरह मीथेन clathrate (methane clathrate), जो की महासागरों में पाया जाता है, से जो भारी मात्रा में CH4 निकलती है, वार्मिंग का एक मुख्य कारण हो सकती है, जैसा की clathrate gun hypothesis (clathrate gun hypothesis) कहता है। " be deleted? - The first sentence of the last paragraph of the lede is too conservative. Even with the most ambitious mitigation, we'll still see some warming. Try saying something like: Climate change models assessed by the IPCC indicate that the average global surface temperature is set to further increase further during the 21st century.
- The concentrations of CO2 and CH4 are now 48% and 160% higher (https://library.wmo.int/doc_num.php?explnum_id=10618)
- Does Hindi use Fahrenheit? You can consider deleting it, as it's mostly a US unit
- पूर्ण हुआ Models are now okay at attributing the warming in the early 20th century (https://wires.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/wcc.522), consider removing that sentence about warming between 1910 and 1945. Femkemilene (वार्ता) 14:58, 29 दिसम्बर 2021 (UTC)
