We get lot of BLP article made and are having a very hard time deciding what is a reliable source for verification purposes. Would you happen to have a list of what newspapers (national and international), magazines, TV news programmes, documentary channels, universities, notable colleges and schools etc.. that we can use to help us to not simply delete 90% of the articles as Speedy Deletion (Not notable). फ़िल्मों के हिंदी संस्करण पोस्टर

सभी को नमस्ते! यह हाल ही में एक सदस्य द्वारा फ़िल्मों के पोस्टर अपलोड किए जाने के बारे में है। सदस्य द्वारा फ़िल्मों के हिंदी डब संस्करणों के लिए जारी हिंदी में पोस्टर अपलोड किए जा रहे हैं और मूल पोस्टर को ज्ञानसंदूक से हटा कर उनकी जगह हिंदी डब वाले पोस्टर लगाए जा रहे हैं। सदस्य के योगदान यहाँ देखे जा सकते हैं।

जहाँ तक मेरी समझ में आता है फ़िल्मों पर बने ऐसे लेख उन फ़िल्मों के बारे में ही हैं न कि विशेषीकृत रूप से उनके हिंदी डब संस्करण के बारे में। अतः ज्ञानसंदूक में उन फ़िल्मों के प्राथमिक पहचान के लिए प्रयुक्त होने वाले पोस्टर रुपी चित्र मूल ही रखे जाने चाहिए। हिंदी डब संस्करण के पोस्टर अतिरिक्त जानकारी का निरूपण करते हैं न कि फ़िल्म की प्राथमिक पहचान द्योतित करते। चूँकि सभी पोस्टर 'उचित उपयोग' के तर्क के साथ ही अपलोड किए जाते (जा सकते) हैं, जब वे प्राथमिक रूप से विषय को चिह्नित करने के लिए आवश्यक हों, ऐसी दशा में हिंदी पोस्टर (भले ही वह फ़िल्म के लेख में अतिरिक्त रूप से लगाया जा सकता हो) यहाँ इस तर्क के साथ नहीं अपलोड किया जा सकता कि प्राथमिक पहचान चिह्नित करने के लिए उसका अपलोड करना उचित है। अतः मेरे विचार में ऐसे चित्र नहीं अपलोड किये जाने चाहिए। हालाँकि, चित्रों और अन्य मीडिया के उचित लाइसेंस और उपयोग तर्कों के बारे में मेरी जानकारी सीमित है।

@SM7 जी, मै भी अब आप की बात से सहमत हु। मूल अंग्रेजी भाषा की फिल्मों के लिए प्राथमिक पोस्टर मूल अंग्रेजी पोस्टर ही होना चाहिए। क्युकी ऐसी फिल्मों को पहली बार अंग्रेजी में रिलीज़ किया गया है और उनका मूल स्वरूप अंग्रेजी ही है। हिंदी या किसी अन्य भाषा में किया गया डब संस्करण केवल एक अनुवाद होता है, जो मूल फिल्म की पहचान को नहीं बदलता है। राजकुमार^(talk) 17:35, 3 जनवरी 2024 (UTC)

@SM7 जी, मुझे लगता है @राजकुमार जी ने मेरे पूर्व सन्देश को ठीक से नहीं समझा था। मैं अंग्रेज़ी भाषा की फ़िल्म के मूल पोस्टर के हिन्दी संस्करण को रखने के पक्ष में नहीं हूँ। यदि फ़िल्म निर्माता कंपनी ने आधिकारिक रूप से हिन्दी वाला पोस्टर हिन्दी में जारी किया है तो फिर भी उसे स्वीकार किया जा सकता है। उदाहरण के लिए गाँधी या स्लमडॉग मिलियनेयर जैसी फ़िल्में अंग्रेज़ी के साथ ही हिन्दी में भी जारी की गयी थी। उनका यदि आधिकारिक रूप से हिन्दी संस्करण जारी किया गया है तो उसे भी रखा जा सकता है। जो हिन्दी में डब की गयी हैं, उनका हिन्दी वाला केवल उसी लेख में रखा जा सकता है जो डब के लिए निर्मित किया गया है। मूल लेख में ऐसे चित्र को केवल उस स्थिति में रखना चाहिए जब यह मुक्त रूप से उपलब्ध हो। यहाँ यह भी स्पष्ट कर दूँ कि विशेष रूप से (अलग से) हिन्दी डब का लेख बनाना उसी समय उचित है जब फ़िल्म का मूल भाषा का एक अच्छा लेख बन चुका है और डब के बारे में भी इतनी ज्ञानकोशीय जानकारी उपलब्ध है और उल्लेखनीयता भी रखती है कि उसे विकिपीडिया पर लेख की विश्वसनीयता के अनुसार रखना उचित हो। ☆★संजीव कुमार (✉✉) 04:31, 4 जनवरी 2024 (UTC)

@संजीव कुमार जी, मै आपकी बात से सहमत हु। परन्तु विकिपीडिया पर किसी फिल्म के बारे मे मुल जानकारी देना होता है। मुल जानकारी मे उसका मुल पोस्टर भी आ जाता है चाहे वो किसी भी भाषा का हो। उदाहरण के तौर पर /Kung Fu Yoga जैसी चीनी फिल्म या The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure जैसी कोरियाई फिल्म के पोस्टर देख सकते है। चाहे इसकी मुल जानकारी दुसरी भाषा मे हो या इनका पोस्टर दुसरी भाषा मे हो फिर भी उस फिल्म का पोस्टर उसकी मुल भाषा वाला ही इस्तेमाल मे लिया गया है। भारत मे अधिकतर फिल्म के मुल पोस्टर अंग्रेजी मे होता है जैसे Jawan (film) के पोस्टर मे आप देख सकते है जिस वजह से कुछ भारतीय फिल्म के पोस्टर अंग्रेजी वाले होते है।

मै आपकी इस बात से सहमत हु कि यदि किसी फिल्म के पोस्टर का आधिकारिक रूप से हिन्दी संस्करण जारी किया गया है तो उसे भी साथ मे रखा जा सकता है मुल पोस्टर के।

यदि किसी फिल्म निर्माता ने उस फिल्म का हिन्दी नाम भी घोषित किया है तो उसी नाम से लेख बनना चाहिए ना कि उसके मुल भाषा के अनुवाद वाले नाम के, परन्तु पोस्टर मुल भाषा वाला होगा (चाहे उस फिल्म का नाम हिन्दी मे ही घोषित हो) तो बेहतर होगा । आप उपर दिए गये फिल्मो को देख सकते है उन फिल्म का मुल नाम अंग्रेजी वाले नाम से अलग है। अंग्रेजी मे पोस्टर होने के बावजुद उसका मुल पोस्टर का ही इस्तेमाल किया गया है।

मुझे नही लगता कि डब फिल्मो के उपर नये लेख कि जरुरत होगी। हम सिर्फ उस फिल्म के हिन्दी मे जारी किये गये नाम से मुल पेज बना सकते है। अनुवादित नाम को हम पुनः प्रेषित करना कर सकते है। हम हिन्दी मे घोषित नाम का पोस्टर लेख मे कर सकते है परन्तु मुल भाषा के पोस्टर को प्राथमिक रुप से दिखाना सही होगा। धन्यवाद राजकुमार^(talk) 05:47, 4 जनवरी 2024 (UTC)

@राजकुमार जी: जवान फ़िल्म का पोस्टर आधिकारिक रूप से चार भाषाओं में जारी किया गया था। मुझे इसका कारण नहीं पता। रेड चिलीज़ एंटरटेनमेंट की आधिकारिक एक्स पोस्ट में चार भाषाओं में इसे दिखाया गया है। इसमें हम हिन्दी विकिपीडिया पर हिन्दी वाले को वरियता देंगे। आपने कुंग फ़ु योग और द पाइरेट्स का उल्लेख किया है, वो हम मूल भाषा वाला ही रखेंगे। ☆★संजीव कुमार (✉✉) 05:57, 4 जनवरी 2024 (UTC)

@SM7 @राजकुमार पोस्टर के बारे में एक विचार अवश्य रखें। लेकिन ये सब इतना सरल नहीं है। हॉलीवुड की हर फ़िल्म अपने हिन्दी नाम के साथ ही जारी होती है। इसलिए उसका पोस्टर हिंदी में ही रखा जाना चाहिए। अभी ऊपर आपने पठान का उदाहरण दिया। यही उदाहरण हॉलीवुड की फिल्मों पे लागू होता है। दूसरी बात रही दक्षिण की फिल्मों के पोस्टर की। तो उसमें भी हिन्दी में डब होने के बाद हिंदी पोस्टर जारी होते हैं। ये आजकल की फिल्मों के लिए सरल है। लेकिन कई पुरानी फिल्मों में नाम अजब ही होते हैं, जैसे डेंजरस खिलाडी, सबसे बड़ा आशिक। यही नाम से पोस्टर तो शायद उपलब्ध ना हो लेकिन इन्हीं नाम से फ़िल्में जरूर मशहूर है। हिंदुस्थान वासी ^{वार्ता} 14:34, 5 जनवरी 2024 (UTC)

@हिंदुस्थान वासी जी, आपने शायद उपर की चर्चा को ध्यान से नहीं पढ़ा। पहले आप यह समझें की उपर डब की गयी फ़िल्मों की बात हो रही है। रिमेक के लिए हम अलग से लेख बनाते हैं अतः उसमें सम्बंधित भाषा का पोस्टर रखना उचित है। आपने पठान के बारे में लिखा है लेकिन ये वो फ़िल्में हैं जिनको प्रमोचित करते समय एक भाषा की कहने की जगह चार भाषाओं की फ़िल्म कहा जाता है। इनका फ़िल्मांकन एक ही निर्देशक और निर्माता द्वारा साथ-साथ में किया जाता है। इसका अन्य उदाहरण बाहुबली फ़िल्म है, जिसका फ़िल्मांकन एकसाथ, एक ही जगह पर तीन बार किया गया। यहाँ तक की हर दृश्य के साथ ऐसा किया गया जिसमें होठ हिलते हुये दिखाई दे रहे हों। अब आप उसको तेलुगू या हिन्दी भाषा की फ़िल्म नहीं कह सकते। वो प्रत्येक भाषा में है। यहाँ पर पोस्टर हम प्रत्येक भाषा का इसलिए नहीं लगा रहे क्योंकि वो कॉपीराइट उल्लंघन में आता है। हम फ़िल्म का पोस्टर उपयोग केवल एक हल्की सी झलक दिखाने के लिए करते हैं। यदि कोई हॉलीवुड निर्माता भी हिन्दी में ऐसे कोई फ़िल्म बनाता है तो उसका हिन्दी पोस्टर रखने में हमें समस्या नहीं है, जिसके उदाहरण के लिए मैंने गांधी और स्लमडॉग मिलियनेयर के उदाहरण दिये हैं। ☆★संजीव कुमार (✉✉) 10:06, 10 जनवरी 2024 (UTC)

डायरेक्ट डब होकर टीवी पर प्रसारित होने वाला फिल्म के मूल पोस्टर ही लगाना चाइए।

• The format will be a 1-hour video call, where you would share your screen. More information here.

The WMF Language team wants to make MinT the default machine translation support in Hindi Wikipedia Content Translation. MinT uses the IndicTrans2 machine translation model, which recently has a new version.

Our proposal to set MinT as the default machine translation service in this Wikipedia will expose contributors to open source service by default and allow them to switch to other services if they prefer those services. Contributors can decide to switch to another translation service that is not default if they prefer the service, which will be helpful in analysing user preferences in the future.

The WMF Language team is requesting feedback from members of this community in this thread if making the MinT the default translation service is okay in Hindi Wikipedia. If there are no objections to the above proposal. In that case, MinT will become the default machine translation in this Wikipedia by the 6th of February 2024.

You are humbly invited to organize the Feminism and Folklore 2024 writing competition from February 1, 2024, to March 31, 2024 on your local Wikipedia. This year, Feminism and Folklore will focus on feminism, women's issues, and gender-focused topics for the project, with a Wiki Loves Folklore gender gap focus and a folk culture theme on Wikipedia.

You can help Wikipedia's coverage of folklore from your area by writing or improving articles about things like folk festivals, folk dances, folk music, women and queer folklore figures, folk game athletes, women in mythology, women warriors in folklore, witches and witch hunting, fairy tales, and more. Users can help create new articles, expand or translate from a generated list of suggested articles.

Organisers are requested to work on the following action items to sign up their communities for the project:

1. Create a page for the contest on the local wiki.
2. Set up a campaign on CampWiz tool.
3. Create the local list and mention the timeline and local and international prizes.
4. Request local admins for site notice.
5. Link the local page and the CampWiz link on the meta project page.

This year, the Wiki Loves Folklore Tech Team has introduced two new tools to enhance support for the campaign. These tools include the Article List Generator by Topic and CampWiz. The Article List Generator by Topic enables users to identify articles on the English Wikipedia that are not present in their native language Wikipedia. Users can customize their selection criteria, and the tool will present a table showcasing the missing articles along with suggested titles. Additionally, users have the option to download the list in both CSV and wikitable formats. Notably, the CampWiz tool will be employed for the project for the first time, empowering users to effectively host the project with a jury. Both tools are now available for use in the campaign. A new feature for previewing references on your wiki

Apologies for writing in English. If you can translate this message, that would be much appreciated.

Hi. As announced some weeks ago ^{[1] [2]}, Wikimedia Deutschland’s Technical Wishes team introduced Reference Previews to many wikis, including this one. This feature shows popups for references in the article text.

While this new feature is already usable on your wiki, most people here are not seeing it yet because your wiki has set a gadget as the default for previewing references. We plan to remove the default flag from the gadget on your wiki soon. This means:

• The new default for reference popups on your wiki will be Reference Previews.
• However, if you want to keep using the gadget, you can still enable it in your personal settings.

The benefit of having Reference Previews as the default is that the user experience will be consistent across wikis and with the Page Previews feature, and that the software will be easier to maintain overall.
