It's really good to hear that someone is willing to contribute to Hindi Wikipedia. That's exactly what this wikipedia needs. Well, First of all what do you want?

If you've seen many articles and find that you wanna edit them as you have more information/correction than the present content, then click on the "बदलें" option on the top of the page. This will take you to a page where you'll see information written with proper tagings. By taging I mean, like दिल्ली will be an "internal link" of दिल्ली. Internal links means those links which open to a wikipedia page. To know more about editing go here :

If you want to get very primery knowledge of editing just press बदलें button on the top the page where this message is displayed. you'll get a very minute idea of editing wiki pages.

If you want to crate a page, then first search for it. This will have double advantages : First you will see if there alerady exists a page for it, and second -you will get an easy link to create a page of same name just below the search button.

If you don't have Hindi font installed then It'll be a good thing to install it on your Windows/Linux machine. If you don't know how to, please inform me. I may reply a bit late (as my end semester examinations are starting from 20th but I'll definitely be replying.)

As you have interests in astrology and astronomy and hindi wiki doesn't have enough articles on them, I think you may find a nice field to work in. Create or edit the articles according to your knowledge and thinking but please don't put personal informations as wikipedia is not a blog.

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere.
