This template renders the standard Australian currency abbreviation (A$) and an optional value. The abbreviation provides an informative link to the Australian dollar article.
{{AUD|123.45}} produces A$123.45 (without a space between the abbreviation and the value).
{{AUD|123.45|link=yes}} produces A$123.45 with a link to Australian dollar.
{{AUD}} by itself produces A$ (simple currency symbol).
