सर्गेई विक्टरोविच लावरोव [lower-alpha 1] ( रूसी: Сергей Викторович Лавров </link> ; जन्म 21 मार्च 1950) एक रूसी राजनयिक हैं जो 2004 से रूस के विदेश मंत्री के रूप में कार्यरत हैं। वह त्सार-शाही युग के बाद से सबसे लंबे समय तक सेवा देने वाले विदेश मंत्री हैं। [1]
लावरोव ने 1994 से 2004 तक संयुक्त राष्ट्र में रूस के स्थायी प्रतिनिधि के रूप में कार्य किया है।
अपनी शिक्षा के दौरान, लावरोव ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय संबंधों का अध्ययन किया। वे रूसी के साथ-साथ सिंहली (श्रीलंका की एक आधिकारिक भाषा), धिवेही (मालदीव की आधिकारिक भाषा), अंग्रेजी और फ्रेंच भी जानते हैं। [2]
