Biography:

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Navendra Singh is born 29th, October 1995.

His mother land is India, Uttar Pradesh, Siswa Bazaar (city), and Maharajganj (Distric).His father is a retired clerk. His mother is housewife. He has one elder sister and one elder brother.

                        Navendra Singh is ‘Kathak Dance’ performer .He like to make a Kathak dancer. He is study in National school of dance ‘Kathak Kendra’. He is student of Guru ‘Rani Khanam’; she is Lucknow Gharana’s Kathak dancer. 
                          “Kathak is a sea, songs are a ship, we are a sailor and the journey is very long. So, my life is a journey and Kathak is one and only my friend.” He said.

He told that I had been dancing since my childhood. I had been dancing small Hindi poems (Kavitta) since my schooldays. I had a fine painter at that time. I had eleven to fourteen years old at that time.”

He loves Kathak. He likes to make an artist since his childhood, but whom artist a painter, a drawer, a chef, a designer, a singer, a sculpture, a dancer and etc. In last, he decided to make a dancer.

                           Navendra Singh said, “All classical forms (Dance, Music and Instrument) is learn by ‘Guru-Shishhya Parampara’. ‘His first guru is ‘Durgesh Jaiswal’; he is the Lucknow Gharana dancer. Second guru is ‘Monisa Nayak’, she is the Jaipur Gharana dancer and third guru is ‘Rani Khanam’, she is the Lucknow Gharana dancer.

Navendra Singh is a powerful Kathak Dancer, sharp facial expressions, striking moves and a wonderful presence on the stage with a positive impact. He is lively present any story lines, his abhinaya was very attractive, decisive and hard. That’s a very important thing to a Kathak Dancer. It’s first point of Kathak Dance.

His foot work is very beautiful; his foot is express A to Z Kathak Dances ‘boles’ and his Ghunghuru’s noises are very sharp. It’s second point of Kathak Dance.

His takes different ‘Chakker’ very smartly, just like sharply, smoothly, slowly etc. ‘Chakker’ is a very special point in Kathak Dance. He said, “Kathak Gharana’s many different types of ‘Chakker’”. It’s third point of Kathak Dance.

                    Navendra Singh is very passive and blaster Kathak dancer. His all performances are very well, and some different to all other Kathak performances. His Kathak performance is just like ‘Gagger me sager’. He performs mostly historical and religious poem and stories.

He joins many programs, events, Utasava and Mohatsava. He got many prizes, awards and respects. City Mohatsava (2011) (2012), Distric Mohatsava (2011) (2012), collage prize (2009) (2011) (2012), school respects (2007) (2009) (2010) and other.
