1) when selecting a moderate amount of text (say 400 characters) and then asking for the translation by hitting the SHIFT key, that the popup shows the hindi but the Google translation never shows up.
This is a problem with Hindi translation. For some reason Google will not translate more than 200 to 250 characters of Hindi. It does not happen with the other languages.
Workaround: Select a smaller amount of the paragraph and you will most likely get the translation back from Google.
Google will not translate more than 500 characters at a time, but in Hindi's case, the limit seems to be less than 500 characters.
