पंचकोण तारा :पंचभुज क्षेत्र की प्रत्‍येक भुजा को दोनों और इतना बढ़ाया जाय कि दूसरी से मिल जाय, इस प्रकार बननेवाली आकृति पंचकोण तारा बनेगी.पेंटाग्राम शब्द ग्रीक भाषा से लिया गया है। ^[1]^[2]
