Optional parameters
[संपादित करें]- This template takes an optional parameter that replaces the word article in the displayed message with arbitrary text. For example, {{copy edit|section}} displays This section needs copy editing.
- This template takes the optional parameter
forwhich can be used to explain what issues need to be addressed, e.g. for=consistent spelling. The default value is grammar, style, cohesion, tone, or spelling. - This template takes the optional parameter
date, with the format date=month year. - This template will auto-categorise tagged articles into Category:All articles needing copy edit. However, if the optional parameter
categoriesis set to no, the template will not categorise the page.
