कुछ विकिपीडिया लेखों में ध्वनि या वीडियो सञ्चिकाएं समाहित होती हैं, जिन्हें किसी भी निजि कम्प्यूटर पर बजाया जा सकता है। तथापि, आपके कम्प्यूटर पर उचित सॉफ़्टवेयर होना चाहिए। यदि आपका कम्प्यूटर स्वतः ही आपके क्लिक करने पर इन सञ्चिकाओं को नहीं बजाता है, तो आपको अन्तरजाल (इण्टरनेट) से निशुल्क साफ़्टवेयर डाउनलोड करके इन्स्टॉल करना चाहिए ताकि आप उन सञ्चिकाओं को सुन सकें।
