Swapnil.Karambelkar जी इस समय आप विकिमीडिया फाउण्डेशन की परियोजना हिन्दी विकिपीडिया पर हैं। हिन्दी विकिपीडिया एक मुक्त ज्ञानकोष है, जो ज्ञान को बाँटने एवं उसका प्रसार करने में विश्वास रखने वाले दुनिया भर के योगदानकर्ताओं द्वारा लिखा जाता है। इस समय इस परियोजना में 8,10,281 पंजीकृत सदस्य हैं। हमें खुशी है कि आप भी इनमें से एक हैं। विकिपीडिया से सम्बन्धित कई प्रश्नों के उत्तर आप को अक्सर पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्नों में मिल जायेंगे। हमें आशा है आप इस परियोजना में नियमित रूप से शामिल होकर हिन्दी भाषा में ज्ञान को संरक्षित करने में सहायक होंगें। धन्यवाद। विकिनीतियाँ, नियम एवं सावधानियाँ विकिपीडिया के सारे नीति-नियमों का सार इसके पाँच स्तंभों में है। इसके अलावा कुछ मुख्य ध्यान रखने हेतु बिन्दु निम्नलिखित हैं: अपने बारे में लेख मत बनाएँ। अपने बारे में कुछ सीमित जानकारी आप अपने सदस्य पृष्ठ पर दे सकते हैं। अपने सदस्य पृष्ठ पर आप अपना चित्र भी लगा सकते हैं। किसी भी पृष्ठ पर मनमाने ढंग से कोई सामग्री या अपने जालस्थल का लिंक न डालें। लेखों पर किसी तरह का प्रयोग न करें। किसी भी तरह का परीक्षण कृपया अपने प्रयोगपृष्ठ पर करें। वहाँ आप परीक्षण करने के लिये स्वतन्त्र है। यदि आप किसी चित्र/संचिका को अपलोड करते हैं, तो उसका लाइसेंस विकल्प ज़रूर दें। मुक्त लाइसेंस के अभाव में वह चित्र विकिपीडिया से हटा दिया जाता है। अंतर्जाल पर उपलब्ध चित्रों को यहाँ तब तक मत चढ़ाएँ, जब तक उसका मुक्त रहना सुनिश्चित न हो या उसके स्वामी से इसकी लिखित अनुमति न ले लें। यदि आपको किसी चित्र की आवश्यकता है तो इसे विकिमीडिया कॉमन्स में खोजें एवं उस चित्र को उसी नाम से बिना यहाँ अपलोड किये हिन्दी विकिपीडिया के किसी भी लेख में प्रयोग कर सकते हैं। विकिमीडीया कॉमन्स में 1 करोड़ से भी अधिक मीडिया उपलब्ध हैं। इसके अलावा आप अंग्रेज़ी विकिपीडिया से भी कोई भी चित्र हिन्दी विकिपीडिया में अपलोड कर सकते हैं। ऐसा करते समय लाइसेन्स विकल्प वही चुनें जो अंग्रेज़ी विकिपीडिया पर दिया हो। सम्पादन या किसी सदस्य से वार्ता करते समय अपनी भाषा शिष्ट बनाए रखें। इस ज्ञानवर्धक परियोजना में सक्रिय सदस्य अपना बहुमूल्य समय लगा रहे हैं जिसके लिये समस्त पाठक इस परियोजना के सभी रचनात्मक योगदानकर्ताओं के ऋणी हैं। चौपाल अथवा लेखों या सदस्यों के वार्ता पृष्ठों पर सन्देश लिखने के बाद अपना हस्ताक्षर अवश्य करें। इसके लिए अपने सन्देश की समाप्ति पर --~~~~ लिख दें अथवा सम्पादन उपकरणों में उपलब्ध बटन दबाएँ।		विकिपीडिया में कैसे योगदान करें? विकिपीडिया में योगदान देने के कई तरीके हैं। आप किसी भी विषय पर लेख बनाना शुरू कर सकते हैं। यदि उस विषय पर पहले से लेख बना हुआ है, तो आप उस में कुछ और जानकारी जोड़ सकते हैं। आप पूर्व बने हुए लेखों की भाषा सुधार सकते हैं। आप उसके प्रस्तुतीकरण को अधिक स्पष्ट और ज्ञानकोश के अनुरूप बना सकते हैं। आप उसमें साँचे, संदर्भ, श्रेणियाँ, चित्र आदि जोड़ सकते हैं। योगदान से संबंधित कुछ महत्वपूर्ण कड़ियाँ निम्नलिखित हैं:  यदि आप विकिपीडीया पर सम्पादन करना नहीं जानते हैं तो सबसे पहले विकिशिक्षा लेख देखें। इसके बाद अपने मनपसन्द विषय पर या किसी अनुरोधित विषय पर नया लेख लिखें  पहले से बने हुए लेखों को सुधारें (मदद के लिए "विकिपीडिया:लेख को कैसे बदलें?" देखें)  विकिपीडिया का रखरखाव करने में सहायता करें  विकिपीडिया के लेखों का आकलन करने में सहायता करें  देवनागरी में कैसे टाइप करें? पोखरण-2

में चक्रपाणी जी की मिनीप्रोजेक्ट-डीप परियोजना के लिए एक पृष्ठ पोखरण-2 को नामांकित कर रहा था। पहले तो वह लाल कड़ी था। परियोजना पृष्ठ पर छोटे बदलाव के बाद वह नीला दिखिए देने लगा। मुझे लगा की यह पृष्ट कही मुझसे भुलवश तो नहीं बन गया फिर मैंने पोखरण-2 पृष्ट को इंटरलिंक करने के बाद {{काम जारी}} का सांच जोड़ा परन्तु पृष्ठ के नीचे मुझे श्रेणी दिखी। जो मैंने नहीं जोड़ी थी। इतिहास में देखने पर पता चला की आप ने पृष्ट का निर्माण किया है वो भी रिक्त। मैंने अपने कार्य को वही रोक दिया ताकि हम दोनों के संपादन में कही टकराव न हो जाये। परंतु कुछ समय वाद मोबाइल से देखने पर मुझे दुख हुआ की पृष्ट अभी भी रिक्त है। फिर मुझे लगा की आपके पास समय नहीं होगा परंतु सदस्य योगदान में देखने पर पता चल कि इसके बाद भी संपादन किये है उसमें मुझे एक और पृष्ठ रासायनिक हथियार रिक्त मिला। पता नहीं आप किस कारण से रिक्त पृष्टो का निर्माण कर रहे है कृपया इसे रोके। आप स्वतः परीक्षित अधिकार के लिए नामाकित है आप पर यह सभी सही नहीं लगता स्वतः परीक्षित के बाद आपकी गलतियां भी खोजना कठिन हो जायेगा। इसलिए आपसे अनुरोध है की आपने जो भी रिक्त पृष्ट बांये है उन्हें शीघ्र हटाने हेतु नामांकित कर दे। पोखरण-2 पृष्ठ का निर्माण तो हुआ था इसलिए मैंने इसे शीघ्र हटाने हेतु नामांकित नहीं किया।--जयप्रकाश >>> वार्ता 20:35, 1 फरवरी 2017 (UTC)

आपने सही से नहीं पड़ा है कृपया दोबारा पड़े मैंने अभी देखा कि आप रासायनिक हथियार पृष्ठ में सामग्री जोड़ रहे है तथा बाद में हटा देते है। आप ऐसा क्यों कर रहे है पता नहीं यदि आपको कही परेशानी आ रही है तो दूसरे सदस्यो से संपर्क करे। अब आते है मुद्दे पर पृष्ट रासायनिक हथियार पहले से ही रासायनिक शस्त्र नाम से मौजूद है और अपने ही इसे पृष्ट के शुरुआत मे जोडा है। अत आप रासायनिक हथियार से सामग्री को पर रासायनिक शस्त्र स्थान्तरित कर दे। रासायनिक हथियार को रासायनिक शस्त्र पर redirect कर दे।--जयप्रकाश >>> वार्ता 14:05, 2 फरवरी 2017 (UTC)

मैं कोई महीने भर पहले के सम्पादन देख रहा था। आपके द्वारा तारीख 26 मार्च को किये गए कुछ श्रेणीकरण देखें:

• छो श्रेणी:इस्लाम-यहूदी विवाद ‎ (HotCat द्वारा श्रेणी:विश्व के विवादित क्षेत्र जोड़ी) - इस्लाम और यहूदी धर्म के बीच विवाद विश्व का क्षेत्र कैसे हो सकता है ? यहाँ क्षेत्र शब्द Region (इलाका) के अर्थ में था।
• छो श्रेणी:भारत सरकार की योजनाएँ ‎ (HotCat द्वारा श्रेणी:भारत सरकार की योजना जोड़ी) - एक ही चीज के लिए गलती से बनी दो श्रेणियाँ।
• 1 और 2 द्वारा आपने "श्रेणी:भारतीय कला इतिहासकार" में "श्रेणी:भारत के लोग" और "श्रेणी:भारत के लोग व्यवसाय अनुसार" दोनों को जोड़ा; केवल बाद वाली संकीर्ण श्रेणी ही पर्याप्त होता। ऐसा आपने "श्रेणी:भारतीय महिला इतिहासकार", "श्रेणी:भारतीय महिला चिकित्सक", "श्रेणी:भारतीय महिला जीवविज्ञानी", "श्रेणी:भारतीय महिला शास्त्रीय नर्तक" में भी किया -- इन सभी में मात्र दो -- "श्रेणी:भारत के लोग व्यवसाय अनुसार" और ""श्रेणी:भारतीय महिलायें व्यवसाय अनुसार" (यह अभी उपलब्ध नहीं) जोड़ा जाना पर्याप्त होता।

• छो रामनवमी ‎ (HotCat द्वारा श्रेणी:हिन्दू धर्म जोड़ी) -- छोटी (narrow) श्रेणी, "श्रेणी:हिंदू पर्व" मौजूद है।
• गुर्दे का कैंसर ‎ (HotCat द्वारा श्रेणी:कैंसर उपचार जोड़ी)] -- ठीक है कि "श्रेणी:कैंसर के प्रकार" जैसी कोई श्रेणी उपलब्ध नहीं पर जब आप इसमें "श्रेणी:कैंसर" के रूप में मूल श्रेणी जोड़ चुके थे तो यह चीज "कैंसर उपचार" की श्रेणी में तो कहीं से भी नहीं आती।

उपरोक्त कड़ियाँ इस लिए प्रस्तुत कर रहा ताकि आप खुद इन्हें देखकर आवश्यक सुधार करें। मुझे ये इसलिए मिलीं क्योंकि इनका पुनरीक्षण नहीं हुआ था, और शायद आप भी अभी तक यह इसलिए कर रहे क्योंकि आपको किसी ने इस ओर ध्यान नहीं दिलाया। कृपया इसे सकारात्मक आलोचना समझें।

दूसरी बात -- कोई भी नई श्रेणी निर्मित करें तो उसे विकिडेटा से अवश्य जोड़ें -- बल्कि पहले एक बार देख लें कि अंग्रेजी विकि पर उसी कार्य के लिए कौन सी श्रेणी मौजूद है और वह खुद किन श्रेणियों में श्रेणीबद्ध है। श्रेणीकरण करने में अन्य संपादनों की तुलना में अधिक सतर्कता की जरूरत होती है, और इसमें हुई गलती काफी लम्बे समय तक बनी रहती है। अतः आगे से अधिक सतर्कता रखते हुए आप आपने सम्पादन बेहतर बनायें, शुभकामनायें। --SM7^{--बातचीत--} 12:02, 25 अप्रैल 2017 (UTC)

सामग्री विलय

आपने वार्ता:तापेश्वर नारायण रैना पर प्रश्न पूछा है। विलय करने के बारे में आरंभिक जानकारी विकिपीडिया:विलय पर मौजूद है। यदि एक ही विषय पर दो लेख बन गए हों तो दोनों की सामग्री में से उचित और रखने योग्य सामग्री को इकठ्ठा करके उचित शीर्षक वाले लेख में रख देना ही विलय है। यह आप भी कर सकते हैं। बस सामग्री को कॉपी-पेस्ट करना है।

हाँ, इस प्रक्रिया में एक शीर्षक (जो गलत वर्तनी इत्यादि के कारण सही न हो) खाली हो जाता है। यदि उस शीर्षक को रखा जाना उचित लगे तो उसे सही शीर्षक पे अनुप्रेषित कर दें। और उस शीर्षक का इतिहास देखें। इतिहास में यदि कई सदस्यों के महत्वपूर्ण योगदान हैं, तो उनके संपादनों के श्रेय सुरक्षित रखने के लिए "इतिहास विलय" करना आवश्यक हो जाता है। इतिहास विलय करवाने के लिए सम्बंधित पन्नों की कड़ी देकर विकिपीडिया:प्रबंधक सूचनापट पर लिख दें, कोई भी प्रबंधक इतिहास विलय कर देगा।

#1Lib1Ref is happening again in May!

#1Lib1Ref, the annual campaign where librarians add references to improve Wikipedia, is coming back again this year, running from May 15th to June 5th, 2018.

• Why twice? We heard from you a desire to run it again out of excitement, because May is not summer vacation for the southern hemisphere, and because Spanish Wikipedia's birthday also falls in May. This is a great expansion of the event and it means that there is another opportunity to make Wikipedia more factual and verifiable by leveraging the expertise of librarians around the world.
• How does this relate to the main campaign in January? We encourage librarians, community members, and affiliates to make 1Lib1Ref their own. So whether we call this 1Lib1Ref May, 1Lib1Ref for the Southern Hemisphere, or 1Lib1Ref Strikes Back, the point is the excitement is building again, and we'd like you to be a part of it.
• If I participated in January, do I have to do it again in May? It's entirely up to you, this is just another chance if you want to do more, or if you couldn't get around to January activities. This is a pilot for us, too, so we'll see how it goes and discuss what we learned after the May campaign.

#1Lib1Ref May 2019

The Wikipedia Library – #1Lib1Ref

As you might've already known, #1Lib1Ref is happening again in May!

#1Lib1Ref, the annual campaign where librarians add references to improve Wikipedia, is back for another round, running from May 15th to June 5th, 2019.

• Not every part of the world is in sync, more particularly the southern and northern hemispheres. While the January version of the #1lib1ref campaign works well mostly for the northern hemisphere, it doesn't for the countries below the equator. Hence #1lib1ref May! This is a great expansion of the event and it means that there is another opportunity to make Wikipedia more factual and verifiable by leveraging the expertise of librarians around the world.
• While this campaign encourages participation from the southern hemisphere, we would love for you to join us even if you participated in the January campaign – after all, Wikipedia is only as strong as its references! So whether we call this 1Lib1Ref May, 1Lib1Ref for the Southern Hemisphere, or 1Lib1Ref Strikes Back, the point is the excitement is building again, and we'd like you to be a part of it.

We are glad to inform you that Project Tiger 2.0/GLOW is going to start very soon. You know about Project Tiger first iteration where we saw exciting and encouraging participation from different Indian Wikimedia communities. To know about Project Tiger 1.0 please see this page

Like project Tiger 1.0, This iteration will have 2 components

• Infrastructure support - Supporting Wikimedians from India with internet support for 6 months and providing Chromebooks. Application is open from 25th August 2019 to 14 September 2019. To know more please visit
• Article writing contest - A 3-month article writing contest will be conducted for Indian Wikimedians communities. Following community feedback, we noted some community members wanted the process of article list generation to be improved. In this iteration, there will be at least two lists of articles

1. Google-generated list,
2. Community suggested list. Google generated list will be given to the community members before finalising the final list. On the other hand, the community may create a list by discussing among the community over Village pump, Mailing list and similar discussion channels.

#1Lib1Ref January 2020

The Wikipedia Library – #1Lib1Ref
#1Lib1Ref is happening again from January 15th through February 5th!

From January 15th to February 5th we will be joining together around the world to make Wikipedia more reliable. You can participate in #1Lib1Ref by simply adding a citation to Wikipedia's content!

That's all we ask and imagine: a world in which every librarian (or archivist, reference professional, and scholar) adds 1 more reference to Wikipedia. This is the fifth year of the #1Lib1Ref campaign and we couldn’t be more excited to support another year of activities.

• If you are planning to host a coffee hour or a edit-a-thon focused on #1Lib1Ref, and you need funding for the event, you will be able to apply for a Rapid Grant. For the best chance of approval, requests should be made in the month of November, since requests related to #1Lib1Ref will be given priority by the Grants team during November.
• You can make sure your contribution is counted by using the Program and Events Dashboard for your event, institution, or region, and using the #1Lib1Ref hashtag in your edit summary. Login to start a new event or join an existing one for the January campaign.
• You can join the 1Lib1Ref community via the Wikimedia & Libraries, and 1Lib1Ref mailing lists, or by joining the Wikimedia and Libraries User Group.

इस साल हिन्दी विकिपीडिया पर भी विकिपीडिया पेजे़ज़ वांटिंग फ़ोटो़ज़ (WPWP) अभियान का आयोजन होने जा रहा है। यह एक वार्षिक अभियान है जहाँ विकिपीडिया की विभिन्न भाषा परियोजनाओं और समुदायों से सदस्य मिलकर विकिपीडिया के चित्रहीन लेखों में चित्र जोड़ते हैं। यह अभियान १ जुलाई २०२० से लेकर ३१ अगस्त तक चलेगा। आप इस अवधि में इसमें भाग लेने के लिये आमंत्रित हैं। भाग लेना अत्यंत आसान है, आपको केवल चित्रहीन पृष्ठों पर सार्थक चित्र लगाने हैं और उस संपादन विवरण में #WPWP और #WPWPHI लिखना है। कृपया यहाँ साइन अप करके भाग लें और इसे सफल बनाएँ। अधिक जानकारी या सहायता हेतु अभियान के समुदाय पृष्ट को देखें।
