एल्फ्रेड नोबल की याद में अर्थशास्त्र में स्वेरिजेस रिक्सबैंक पुरस्कार (आधिकारिक स्वीडिश: Sveriges riksbanks pris i ekonomisk vetenskap till Alfred Nobels minne), जिसे सामान्यतः अर्थशास्त्र में नोबेल पुरस्कार (अंग्रेज़ी: Nobel Prize in Economics) कहा जाता है,[1] अर्थशास्त्र में असाधारण योगदान के लिए दिया जाने वाला इस क्षेत्र का सबसे प्रतिष्ठित सम्मान है।[2]
निर्माण और धन[संपादित करें]
नोबल संस्थान के प्रशासनिक पुरस्कार से जुड़े खर्चों का भुगतान स्वेरिजेस रिक्सबैंक धन और पुरस्कार के लिए आवश्यक चीजों को देकर करती है।[3]
2012 के बाद से इस पुरस्कार का मौद्रिक भाग 8 लाख स्वीडी क्रोनर हो गया। यह मूल नोबल पुरस्कार में मिलने वाली राशि के बराबर है।[4][5][6] 2006 से स्वेरिजेस रिक्सबैंक हर वर्ष नोबल संस्थान को 65 लाख स्वीडी क्रोनर अनुदान में देने लगा। 2008 के अंत तक इसके प्रशासनिक कार्यों के लिए इसे 10 लाख स्वेडी क्रोनर मिलते थे। इसमें नोबल संस्थान के वेब पन्ने पर पुरस्कार के बारे में जानकारी डालने आदि का खर्च भी शामिल था।[7]

An additional award, the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, was established in 1968 by the Bank of Sweden with a grant to the Nobel Foundation, and was first awarded in 1970. Thus, its laureates are announced with the Nobel Prize recipients, and the Prize in Economic Sciences is presented at the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony.

In celebration of the Tercentenary of Sveriges Riksbank, the Bank has instituted a prize in economic sciences in memory of Alfred Nobel. ... I posten ekonomipris ingår prissumman om 10 miljoner kronor samt administrationskostnader för detta pris om 6,5 miljoner kronor. Dessutom har bidrag givits till det interaktiva Internetmuseum som Nobelstiftelsen byggt upp. Bidraget avser täckande av kostnaden för information om ekonomipriset. Bidraget ska enligt avtal utbetalas årligen med 1 miljon kronor till och med 2008.
