भारत से सम्बंध[संपादित करें]
स्टीफन हार्पर ने जून 2010 में कई राष्ट्रध्यक्षों के बीच सिर्फ तत्कालीन भारत के प्रधान मंत्री मनमोहन सिंह के लिए अलग से रात्रि भोजन का आयोजन किया था। भले ही उस समय मनमोहन सिंह राष्ट्राध्यक्षों के सम्मेलन में गए थे लेकिन कनाडा और भारत के बीच द्वीपक्षिय बात हुई और दोनों ने साझा बयान पर दस्तख़त भी किये थे। इस प्रयास को और आगे बल 2015 में भारतीय प्रधान मंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के कनाडा दौरे से मिला।[1]
