Usage

This template creates a {{cite book}} citation to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Sailing Directions, including publication title, page, and year, plus a reference to the URL on the NGA web site that currently has the PDF of the publications (Pubs 120-200). Its use provides a standard citation for the Publications as well as making it easy to modify all citations globally if the NGA changes its web site organization, as happened with the US Coast Guard Light Lists in July, 2010.

Parameters

The template may be used in the form

which will result in

Sailing Directions (Enroute), Pub. 123: Southwest Coast of Africa (PDF). Sailing Directions. United States National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. 2017. पृ॰ 74.

The first parameter is always unnamed and must be a zero or a number from 120 to 200, corresponding to the volumes of the NGA Sailing Directions. Calling for Publication zero yields a generic reference which ignores any page given. The second parameter is the year, and the third is the page number. Either or both of the year and the page may be omitted, but that is not recommended
