अप्रवास (Immigration) किसी एक भौगोलिक इकाई से किसी अन्य भौगोलिक इकाई में व्यक्तियों के जा कर बस जाने को कहते हैं। आधुनिक काल में यह आमतौर पर किसी एक देश के निवासी के किसी ऐसे दूसरे देश में जा कर वहाँ का निवासी बन जाने को कहते हैं जहाँ की वह नागरिकता न रखता हो। अक्सर अप्रवासी का ध्येय होता है कि वह नये देश जाकर वहाँ रहे, व्यवसाय करे और वहीं का नागरिक बन जाए।[1][2][3]
