पेलियोआर्कियाई महाकल्प
पेलियोआर्कियाई महाकल्प (Paleoarchean era) पृथ्वी के भूवैज्ञानिक इतिहास में आर्कियाई इओन (Archean) का एक महाकल्प था, जो आज से 360 करोड़ (यानि 3.6 अरब) वर्ष पहले आरम्भ हुआ और 320 करोड़ (3.2 अरब) वर्ष पहले अंत हुआ। इस महाकल्प से पहले इयोआर्कियाई महाकल्प (Eoarchean) चल रहा था और इसके बाद मीसोआर्कियाई महाकल्प (Mesoarchean) आरम्भ हुआ।[1] पृथ्वी के सबसे प्राचीन जीवाश्म, जो 348 करोड़ वर्ष पुराने बैक्टीरिया के हैं, इसी महाकल्प में उत्पन्न हुए थे।[2][3]
