काला वन तीतर (Black wood partridge), जिसका वैज्ञानिक नाम मेलानोपेर्डिक्स नाइजर (Melanoperdix niger) है, दक्षिणपूर्वी एशिया में मिलने वाली तीतर की एक जीववैज्ञानिक जाति है। इसे काला तीतर (Black partridge) भी बुलाया जाता है, हालांकि यह काला तीतर कहलाने वाले दूसरे पक्षी से भिन्न जाती है। यह मेलानोपेर्डिक्स (Melanoperdix) वंश की भी एकमात्र सदस्य जाति है।[2][3][4][5]
