क़ुरैश क़बीला

क़ुरैश (अरबी: قريش, अंग्रेज़ी: Quraish या Quraysh) एक शक्तिशाली व्यापारी अरब क़बीला था जिसका इस्लाम के आने से पहले मक्का और उसके काबा पर नियंत्रण था। पैग़म्बर मुहम्मद भी इसी क़बीले की बनू हाशिम शाखा के सदस्य थे। पारम्परिक क़हतानी-अदनानी अरब श्रेणीकरण के नज़रिए से क़ुरैश एक अदनानी क़बीला था।[1]
