अमाली एम्मी नोतर (Amalie Emmy Noether)^[a] (German: [ˈnøːtɐ]; 23 मार्च 1882 – 14 अप्रैल 1935) एक जर्मन गणितज्य थीं जिन्होने अमूर्त बीजगणित (abstract algebra) के क्षेत्र में अनेक योगदान दिए। उन्होने गणितीय भौतिकी में एक प्रसिद्ध प्रमेय भी दिया जिसे नोटर का प्रमेय कहते हैं। ^[1] पावेल एलेक्जेंद्रोव, अलबर्ट आइन्स्टीन, आदि अनेक अनेक लोगोण ने उन्हें 'गणित के इतिहास की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण महिला' कहा है। ^[2]^[3] As one of the leading mathematicians of her time, she developed the theories of rings, fields, and algebras. In physics, Noether's theorem explains the connection between symmetry and conservation laws.^[4]
