आर्कोट मुदलियार
तुलुव वेलालर[1][a], जिसे आर्कोट मुदलियार[3] या अगमुडी मुदलियार[4][5] के नाम से जाना जाता है, उत्तरी तमिलनाडु की एक जाति और एक महत्वपूर्ण भूमि मालिक[6] है। वे विजयनगर, होयसल साम्राज्य[7] और ब्रिटिश राज में रईसों और कार्यालय धारकों के रूप में काम करते हैं। वे ब्रिटिश राज के दौरान भारत भर में छावनी कस्बों में बस गए हैं। आम तौर पर आरकोट मुदलियार को समृद्ध और उच्च शिक्षित समुदाय माना जाता है।[8]

Tuluva Vellala is a prosperous and progressive caste in Tamil Nadu and they migrated from Tulu Nadu to Tamil Nadu in ancient times.
