अफरइया
अफरइया (अफरिया) (अन्य उच्चारण- अफरिया, अफ्रिया यदुवंश की अहीर जाति का एक उपसमुदाय है[1][2][3] और वे भगवान कृष्ण को अपना पूर्वज मानते हैं। हरियाणा के अहीरवाल राज्य पर अहीरो का शासन था।[4][5][6]
इतिहास
[संपादित करें]18वीं शताब्दी के प्रारम्भ में, अहीर सेनापति राव नंदराम ने रेवाड़ी राज्य की स्थापना की थी। उन्हें रेवाड़ी के आस पास 360 गावों की यह जागीर व चौधरी का खिताब प्राप्त हुआ था। उस समय चौधरी का खिताब सैन्य शक्ति का सूचक हुआ करता था। [7]
अफरिया राजस्थान राज्य में अलवर के तिजारा नामक स्थान से हरियाणा के रेवाड़ी क्षेत्र में आकार बसे थे। राव तुलाराम सिंह व उनके वंशजों का गोत्र अफरिया है।[8] हेनरी एम॰ इलियट के वृतांतों के अनुसार- सभी प्रान्तों के अहीर अपनी मूल उत्पत्ति मथुरा या उसके पश्चिम के क्षेत्र से मानते हैं। अफरिया अहीर जाति का एक महत्वपूर्ण समुदाय है।[9][10] मुगल शासन काल में, अफरिया, कोसलिया, व खोसा राजशाही अहीर वंश थे।[11] राव नंदराम रेवाड़ी के यदुवंशी अहीरों के अफरिया परिवार में जन्मे थे, जिन्होंने अपनी अपार सैन्य शक्ति व विस्तृत उपजाऊ जमीन के माध्यम से अपनी प्रभुता सिद्ध की थी।[12]
दिल्ली में
[संपादित करें]दिल्ली में अफरिया गोत्र के 18 गांव हैं जिन्हे सुरेड़ा सतरा खांप भी कहा जाता है। कुछ गाँव इस प्रकार हैं- खेड़ा डाबर, जफरपुर कलाँ, खदखड़ी नाहर, खदखड़ी जाट्मल, दौलत पुर, घुमनहेड़ा, खेरा, पंडवाला,हसनपुर, झुलझुली गांव आदि।
