अनाहत सिंह (जन्म 13 मार्च 2008)[1] एक भारतीय स्क्वॉश खिलाड़ी हैं।[2] उन्होंने वर्ल्ड कप में एक स्वर्ण पदक, एशियन चैंपियनशिप में दो स्वर्ण पदक और वर्ल्ड जूनियर चैंपियनशिप में एक कांस्य पदक जीता है।[3][4]
2025 में, सिंह ने पीएसए अवॉर्ड्स में 'यंग प्लेयर ऑफ़ द ईयर' और 'चैलेंजर प्लेयर ऑफ़ द ईयर' का अवॉर्ड जीता।[5]
शुरुआती जीवन
[संपादित करें]सिंह का जन्म 13 मार्च 2008 को नई दिल्ली में तानी वढेरा और गुरशरण सिंह के घर हुआ था। उनकी माँ इंटीरियर डिज़ाइनर हैं, जबकि उनके पिता वकील हैं। उनके माता-पिता दोनों ही फ़ील्ड हॉकी खेलते थे।[6] उसके चाचा टेनिस खेलते थे।[7] पी.वी. सिंधु से प्रेरित होकर, पाँच साल की उम्र में सिंह ने बैडमिंटन खेलना शुरू किया।[8] सिंह ने उसे देखा और ओलंपिक में जीत का सपना देखा।[9]
वह अपनी बहन अमीरा के साथ जाती थी, जो स्क्वैश खेलती थी।[10] कुछ स्क्वैश टूर्नामेंट में अच्छा प्रदर्शन करने के बाद, उन्हें यह खेल पसंद आने लगा और उन्होंने इसी खेल को अपना लिया।[11]
