बिरुबाला राभा
बिरुबाला राभा एक भारतीय समाजसुधारक कार्यकर्ता हैं जो भारत में असम में जादू टोना और 'चुड़ैल' के शिकार के विरुद्ध अभियान चलाती हैं। [1] [2] [3] वह 'मिशन बिरुबाला नामक एक संस्था चलाती हैं जो 'डायन' कहकर स्त्रियों को मारने-पीटने और प्रताड़ित करने के विरुद्ध जागरूकता फैलाती है। [4] [5] [6] असम सरकार द्वारा चुड़ैल प्रताड़ना रोकथाम और संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2015 को पारित कराने में उनकी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका थी। [7] [8] [9] [10] भारत सरकार ने उन्हें सामाजिक कार्य में योगदान के लिए 2021 में पद्मश्री से सम्मानित किया जो भारत का चौथा सबसे प्रतिष्ठित नागरिक सम्मान है। [11]
