बोन धर्म
बोन धर्म या बॉन धर्म (བོན་, Bön) तिब्बत की प्राचीन और पारम्परिक धार्मिक प्रथा है। आधुनिक युग में इसमें बौद्ध धर्म और बौद्ध धर्म से पहले की तिब्बती संस्कृति में प्रचलित धार्मिक आस्थाएँ शामिल हैं। बहुत से ऐसी बौद्ध-पूर्व आस्थाएँ तिब्बती बौद्ध धर्म में भी सम्मिलित की जा चुकी हैं। कुछ इतिहासकारों के अनुसार बोन धर्म के तत्व सिर्फ़ तिब्बत तक ही सीमित नहीं थे बल्कि उनका ऐतिहासिक प्रभाव तिब्बत से दूर कई मध्य एशिया के क्षेत्रों तक भी मिलता था। इतिहासकार बोन धर्म को तिब्बती साम्राज्य से पहले आने वाले झ़ंगझ़ुंग राज्य से भी सम्बन्धित समझते है।[1][2]
हिन्दू धर्म और बोन धर्म में सम्बन्ध[संपादित करें]
कई विद्वानों ने यह टिप्पणी की है कि बोन धर्म और हिन्दू धर्म के भगवान शिव में बहुत-सी तीर्थ व अन्य सामान्ताएँ हैं। मसलन मानसरोवर और कैलाश पर्वत दोनों ही धर्मों में पवित्र माने जाते थे और हिन्दूओं के लिये शिवजी के कारण विषेश महत्व रखते हैं। इसी तरह बहुत-सी तिब्बत में उत्पन्न होने वाली नदियाँ भी हिन्दूओं और बोन धर्मियों के लिये धार्मिक आस्था की बिन्दु हैं। कुछ विद्वानों का सोचना है कि यह सम्भवत: प्राचीन बोन धर्म का हिन्दू धर्म पर प्रभाव हो सकता है।[3] अन्य कहते हैं कि शायद कश्मीर से शिव-उपासकों के तिब्बत जाने से बोन धर्म में हिन्दू-तत्व सम्मिलित हो गए।[4] कई आर्य-हिन्दू दिव्य हस्तियाँ, मसलन यमराज, भी बोन-उपासकों द्वारा तिब्बत में बौद्ध प्रभाव से पहले से ही मान्य थी और तिब्बत में उनकी बोन प्रतिमाएँ प्राचीनकाल से ही बनती आई हैं।[5]
