I don't think that your redirect of ज़रथुष्ट्र to ज़रथुश्त्र is correct. What is the scholarly authority that you follow for this understanding? To me it appears that the Avestan form:

Avestan: Zaraθuštra with the clear understanding related to uSTra as camel in a bhuvrIhi compound indicates the first spelling is the right one.
