Purpose and function[संपादित करें]
This template is designed to unify the various transliteration schemes and styles employed for Indic scripts. It aims to provide a standard way of representing transliterations.

"lang"[संपादित करें]
The two letter भाषा code (or three letters if the two letter one does not exist) indicating the भाषा of the text. The following भाषाs are recognised by this template:

The Indic script version of the text. You may use indic2 and indic3 for alternative spellings in the same भाषा (although they can be different scripts). If you need to show a different भाषा, use another instance of this template separated by a semi-colon ';'.

The transliteration of the source script. You may use indic2 and indic3 for alternative spellings in the same भाषा (although they can be different scripts). If you need to show a different भाषा, use another instance of this template separated by a semi-colon ';'.
"defaultipa"[संपादित करें]
The IPA text of the pronunciation of the word in English.
"defaultaudio"[संपादित करें]
An audio file indicating the pronunciation of the word in English.
"indicipa"[संपादित करें]
The IPA text of the pronunciation of the word in the source भाषा.
"indicaudio"[संपादित करें]
An audio file indicating the pronunciation of the word in the source भाषा.
"showlang"[संपादित करें]
Values: true/false Default: true
Indicates whether to show the भाषा name.
"showhelp"[संपादित करें]
Values: true/false Default: true
Indicates whether to show the help icon.
