राजनैतिक भ्रष्टाचार

अवैध निजी लाभ के लिये सरकारी अधिकारियों द्वारा अपने विधायी शक्तियों (legislated powers) का उपयोग राजनैतिक भ्रष्टाचार (Political corruption) कहलाता है। किन्तु सामान्यतः सरकारी शक्तियों का दुरुपयोग (जैसे अपने राजनैतिक प्रतिद्वंदियों को सताना/दबाना, पुलिस की निर्दयता आदि) राजनैतिक भ्रष्टाचार में नहीं गिना जाता है।
