फ़िरोज़कोह
फ़िरोज़कोह या फ़िरूज़कूह (फ़ारसी: فیروزکوه, अंग्रेज़ी: Fîrûzkûh या Turquoise Mountain) आधुनिक अफ़ग़ानिस्तान के ग़ोर प्रान्त में स्थित एक शहर था जो ग़ोरी राजवंश की प्रथम राजधानी थी। कहा जाता है कि अपने समय में यह विश्व के महान नगरों में से एक था लेकिन सन् १२२० के दशक में चंगेज़ ख़ान के पुत्र ओगताई ख़ान के नेतृत्व में मंगोल फ़ौजों ने इसपर धावा बोला और इसे तहस-नहस कर डाला। उसके बाद यह शहर इतिहास को खोया गया और इसका ठीक स्थान किसी को ज्ञात नहीं है।[1] कुछ इतिहासकारों का मनना है कि ग़ोर प्रान्त के शहरक ज़िले में खड़ी जाम की मीनार इस शहर का अंतिम बाचा हुआ निशान है।[2]
