प्रायिकता

किसी घटना के होने की सम्भावना (likelihood or chance) को प्रायिकता (Probability) कहते हैं। सांख्यिकी, गणित , विज्ञान, दर्शनशास्त्र आदि क्षेत्रों में इसका बहुतायत से प्रयोग होता है।
