ग्रेफीन

ग्रेफीन (Graphene) sp2-बंधित कार्बन परमाणुओं की एक-परमाणु के बराबर पतली झिल्ली (शीट) होती है। इसमें कार्बन परमाणु हनीकंब क्रिस्टल लैटिस में अत्यन्त सघन रूप में पैक होते हैं।
इसका नाम 'ग्रेफाइट' के 'ग्रेफ' में 'ईन' जोड़कर बना है।
