ओपेनऑफिस.ओआरजी (OpenOffice.org) एक मुफ्त तथा मुक्त स्रोत साफ्टवेयर है जो अनेक परिचालन तंत्रों के लिये उपलब्ध है। इसे प्राय: "ओपेनऑफिस" नाम से ही पुकारते हैं। इसमें आंकडा विनिमय के लिये ओपेनडाक्युमेन्ट मानक का (डिफाल्ट) समर्थन है; इसके साथ-साथ यह माइक्रोसाफ्ट आफिस के कई प्रारूपों का भी समर्थन करता है। इस समय यह विश्व की अस्सी से अधिक भाषाओं में उपलब्ध है।
ओपेनआफिस के घटक[संपादित करें]
ओपेनआफिस कई अनुप्रयोगों का समूह है। इन अनुप्रयोगों की रचना इस तरह से की गयी है कि ये अनुप्रयोग एक-दूसरे के साथ मिलकर काम करने की क्षमता से युक्त हैं जो कि किसी आधुनिक आफिस संकलन (office suite) में होना जरूरी हैं। ओपेन आफिस के अधिकांश घटक माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस के संगत घटकों जैसा काम करने के लिये निर्मित हैं। उदाहरण के लिये ओपेनओफिस का 'राइटर' माइक्रोसॉफ्ट आफिस के 'वर्द' जैसा काम करने लिये उपयुक्त है।

राइटर (Writer) | यह एक शब्द संधाधक है जो काम में माइक्रोसाफ्ट के 'वर्ड' तथा 'वर्डपर्फेक्ट' जैसा है। यह किसी डॉक्यूमेन्ट को पीडीएफ में भी बदल सकता है। इसके अलावा जालस्थल (web page) बनाने के लिये यह एक "जैसा दर्शन वैसी प्राप्ति" (WYSIWYG) सम्पादक का काम भी करता है। |

कैल्क (Calc) | A spreadsheet similar to Microsoft Excel or Lotus 1-2-3. Calc provides a number of features not present in Excel, including a system which automatically defines series for graphing, based on the layout of the user’s data. Calc can also export spreadsheets to the PDF format. (See ooWriter entry, above, for details of PDF). |

It can export presentations to Adobe Flash (SWF) files, allowing them to be played on any computer with a Flash player installed. It also includes the ability to create PDF files, and the ability to read Microsoft PowerPoint's .ppt format. Impress lacks ready-made presentation designs. However, templates are readily available on the Internet.[1][2][3] |

बेस (Base) | A database management program similar to Microsoft Access. Base allows the creation and manipulation of databases, and the building of forms and reports to provide easy access to data for end-users. As with Access, Base may be used as a front-end to a number of different database systems, including Access databases (JET), ODBC data sources and MySQL/PostgreSQL. Base became part of the suite starting with version 2.0. Native to the OpenOffice.org suite is an adaptation of HSQL. While Base can be a front-end for any of the databases listed, there is no need for any of them to be installed. Raw SQL code can be entered by those who prefer that, or graphical user interfaces can be used. |

ड्रा (Draw) | A vector graphics editor and diagramming tool, similar to Microsoft Visio and comparable in features to early versions of CorelDRAW. It features versatile "connectors" between shapes, which are available in a range of line styles and facilitate building drawings such as flowcharts. It has similar features to Desktop publishing software such as Scribus and Microsoft Publisher. Draw can also export its creations to the PDF format. मैथ (Math) | A tool for creating and editing mathematical formulae, similar to Microsoft Equation Editor. Formulae can be embedded inside other OpenOffice.org documents, such as those created by Writer. It supports multiple fonts and can export to PDF. |
